Code of Conduct

How members work together, in person and online.

1. Be professional and respectful

Disagree with ideas, not people. Harassment, discrimination or personal attacks are not tolerated in any AIGSB space.

2. No selling

The forum, directory, events and comment process are not sales channels. Do not use member contact details for marketing. Observers may describe their products only when the Board asks.

3. Protect confidential information

Do not share your employer's confidential information, personal data, or security details that could put an organization at risk. Describe patterns, not specific vulnerabilities in named organizations.

4. Chatham House Rule

At roundtables, participants may use what they hear but may not identify who said it or which organization they represent, unless the speaker agrees.

5. Disclose interests

Disclose relevant commercial interests when you comment on a draft or speak at a meeting, under the Independence Policy.

6. Speak for yourself

Contributions reflect your professional view unless you state that you speak for your organization.

7. Enforcement

The Secretariat may remove content, suspend access, or end membership for breaches. Serious matters are reviewed by the Trustees. Report concerns through the contact page.
