Submit a comment letter

Comment letters are how the Board hears from practitioners. Every letter is read, considered in redeliberation, and answered in the basis for conclusions.

Writing an effective letter

  • Reference the requirement number you are commenting on.
  • Say whether you agree, disagree, or agree with changes.
  • Explain the practical effect in your organization.
  • Propose specific alternative wording where you can.
  • Answer the "Questions for respondents" at the end of each draft.
